Meet Derek
My name is Derek Podurgiel, and I am the owner and operator of DP Windows. There are three major things I love in my life: my Savior Jesus, my family, and carpentry.
As a carpenter, a friend of mine asked me if I could rebuild his rotted wood casement window. After that, word got around and the calls started coming in. Before long, rebuilding windows became my full-time business. I’ve spent the last 11 years rebuilding and restoring wood casement windows.
Over the years, I've had some pretty challenging rebuilds, from historic windows like those at the Ray House at Wilson's Creek National Battlefield to very large decorative windows. I love the challenge and the satisfaction of being able to duplicate these windows exactly and restore them to like-factory condition.
It's also very satisfying seeing my clients so happy with their windows and the money they save by rebuilding instead of replacing. And that’s what DP Windows is all about.
